Wolfe, Pike nab 13 & Under titles

4-under 66 takes 13 & under girls title

Samuel Wolfe of Harvest won the 3rd Alabama State Boys 13 & Under Junior Championship. He shot 3-under 67 in the final round of the AGA event and finished at 6-under 134 for the tournament played at Highland Park.

“I hit my driver really well, the fairways we were playing really looked good,” Wolfe said. “I was able to hit a lot of good iron shots, and I made a lot of putts.”

Tyden Steele of Double Springs and Jackson McIntyre of Montgomery tied for second, each carding a two-under 138. After a scorecard playoff, Steele finished second, posting a two-under 68 for the final round. McIntyre finished third with a 75 in the final round.

Adalyn Pike of Athens won the Girls 13 & Under Junior Championship. Pike shot 4-under 66 in the final round and finished at 4-under 136.

Annalee Regan of Muscle Shoals finished second, posting three-over 73 for the day and even-par 140 for the tournament. 

Finishing third, Beka Yang of Pike Road posted one-under 69 in the closing round Junior Champions by Age Division

Girls 12-13 Age Division

First Place:Adalyn Pike of Athens, 136 (-4)

Second Place: Annalee Regan of Muscle Shoals, 140 (E)

Third Place: Beka Yang of Pike Road, 142 (+2)

Girls 9-11 Age Division

First Place: Merritt Daniel of Trussville, 161 (+21)

Second Place: Emma Kate Rice of Mountain Brook, 169 (+29)

Third Place: Elizabeth Chappell of Homewood, 211 (+71)

Nine-hole Divisional Champions

Boys 6-8 Age Division

First Place: Haynes Willings of Birmingham, 76 (+6)

Second Place: Manning Askew of Oxford, 78 (+8)

Third Place: Christian McClendon of Birmingham, 82 (+12)

Girls 6-8 Age Division

First Place: Emerson Peevy of Auburn, 97 (+27)
