Alabama Golf Association sets 2022 tournament schedule

The Alabama Golf Association staff is about to get busy.

The AGA will work a total of 26 tournaments stretching from Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club, Canebrake Club and the RTJ Golf Trail at Hampton Cove in the north all the way to The Lakewood Club and the RTJ Golf Trail Magnolia Grove in the south.

The season begins March 24 at Willow Point Golf and Country Club with the Ladies Two-Person Scramble. It ends with the Alabama State Senior/Super Senior Four-Ball Championship at Valley Hill Country Club on Oct. 14-16.

Also, the Country Club of Birmingham will host the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship May 14-18.

Some events might require competitors to be a member of the Alabama Golf Association. For information about how to join the AGA, go to alabamagolf.org.
