Unlike so many golf clubs nowadays, The Landings Golf & Athletic Club doesn’t cater to the uber-rich. Its grounds, staff and amenities have the feel of a quality club without the nose-in-the-air self-righteousness.
Steven Freund, executive director of The Landings, called the club “a Lexis or Acura” versus a Rolls Royce kind of place during a meeting of the International Network of Golf at The Landings in early June..
