First on-course lodging at Pinehurst
The Cottages at No. 8 are the newest lodging choice at the ever-growing, ever-improving Pinehurst Resort.
The Cottages at No. 8 are adjacent to The Tom Fazio-designed course that became Pinehurst’s eighth course in 1996. The Cottages at No. 8 will be available for pccupancy in May.
They are Pinehurst’s first on-course accommodations. They are multi-level wood-frame buildings.
All cottages have a rec room with a pool table and a common sitting area with a fireplace and spacious decks and porches that overlook No. 8. Nearby, communal fire pits, a pavilion and a large putting green offer post-round relaxation.
The largest units among the Cottages at No. 8 – fit for a large buddies’ trip – can sleep eight across 8,000 square feet on two floors with a porch and terrace. The units that can sleep four are 4,650 square feet in size.
All of the Cottages at No. 8 have full kitchens, porch and terrace. Each cottage had a dedicated ambassador to help guests with their needs.
Cottages are stocked with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. Optional catered dinner can be prepared by Pinehurst’s culinary experts.
Guests staying in the cottages will enjoy exclusive access to twilight golf at No. 8.
Guests also will enjoy complimentary shuttle service to and from the resort’s courses and lodging and dining properties, daily housekeeping services, complimentary toiletries and wifi.
Other lodging options at Pinehurst are are The Carolina Hotel, The Holly Inn, The Manor, The Magnolia Inn, The Villas and the Condos.
Pinehurst has ten 18-hole golf courses. No. 10, its first new course in three decades, opened in the spring of 2024. That course, part of a new phase of development away from the main resort called “The Sandmines,” is part of a 900-acre parcel that will also be the site of possibly an 11th course, a short course, a clubhouse and cottages, the resort said.
