Woodward Golf & Country Club was founded in 1916 by A.H. (Rick) Woodward, Sr. as the Employee’s Club of Woodward Iron Company and was designed by noted Birmingham sportsman Charlie Hall. The par 71 course has four sets of tees and measures just over 6,500 yards from the Championship Tees to 5,300 yards from the forward tees.
