A.C. Read Golf Course on the grounds of Naval Air Station Pensacola is open to the public and has been officially recognized as a featured Florida Historical Golf Course. With its old Naval live oaks, many water holes and coveted location along Bayou Grande, the course is one of the most beautiful in the U.S. Navy as well as in the Florida panhandle. It offers 27 championship holes with an additional 18 hole executive course. A.C. Read Golf Course is six miles southwest of Downtown Pensacola.
